Thornensians RUFC Race Night – Friday 23rd October!

Join us at Thornensians RUFC on Friday 23rd Octoberfor a fantastic evening of horse racing, food, entertainment and fundraising, all in support of our British Gas – Energy for Tomorrow Crowdfunder!

Doors open at 6:30pm, and with free entry, everyone is welcome to come along, get involved and help us raise money for an exciting next step in improving our club facilities.

Eight races – who's backing a winner?

We'll be running eight races, with eight horses in every race, giving you plenty of chances to pick a winner!

There are several ways to get involved and support the fundraising effort:

• Sponsor a race – £20:Put your name or business in the spotlight by sponsoring one of our eight races.

• Own a horse – £5:Choose your horse and cheer it on to victory!

• Be a jockey – £5:Get involved in the action and see if your jockey can ride their horse to success!

Whether you're sponsoring a race, owning a horse or becoming a jockey, every penny raised will go towards our club's Crowdfunder.

Spaces and sponsorship opportunities are limited, so speak to the club for more information and to get involved.

We've hit our target – now let's go further!

We're delighted to have reached 100% of our original British Gas – Energy for Tomorrow Crowdfunder target!A huge thank you to everyone who has donated and supported the campaign so far.

But we're not stopping there!

We've introduced a stretch target to help raise additional funds towards installing LED-powered floodlights on our training pitch. This would be a fantastic investment for Thornensians, helping us improve our training facilities and support the continued development of rugby at the club.

Our Race Night is another opportunity for our members, supporters and local community to get behind the campaign and help us reach this next milestone.

Pie, peas and a raffle

Enjoy some traditional pie and peas during the evening, and don't forget to enter our raffle for the chance to win some great prizes!

It's a great opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy the racing and support the club at the same time.

Introducing SALT Felt Peach Beer!

Race Night will also mark the launch of our latest addition to the bar: SALT Felt Peach Beer!

This fruity, refreshing peach beer will be available on draught at Thornensians from the evening, making it the perfect opportunity to try something new while enjoying the racing.

Come along, raise a glass and help us give our newest beer a warm Thornensians welcome!

The night doesn't end at the final race!

Once all eight races are complete, we'll be keeping the party going with a disco, so stick around, enjoy the music and dance the night away!
