Club Stalwart Passes Away
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mick (Michael) Carlin, a cherished former player & long-serving member of Thornensians RUFC. Mick passed away peacefully after a long illness in his nursing home today (14/06/2025). Mick was a stalwart of the club, whose passion for the game and unwavering commitment will leave a lasting legacy both on and off the field. His dedication, good humour, and sportsmanship made him a respected figure among teammates, opponents, and friends alike. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
